Springs
Springs are the most important materials for mattresses and upholstered furniture. They consist of a steel mesh in which the individual springs are either directly connected to each other (Bonell) or individually incorporated into small pockets. At Aksan Yay we manufacture two different types of springs: Bonell and pocket springs.
Our Bonell springs ensure high stability and durability. They consist of a large number of steel springs that are connected to each other via a wire mesh.
The area-elastic behavior of our bonell springs distributes the pressure over the entire surface of the springs. In addition to this property, our bonell springs guarantee high air permeability due to their large hollow space, which prevents moisture from being stored.
We work with selected and high-quality wires, the thicknesses of which we can also adjust according to customer requirements. Accordingly, we can produce bonell springs that are characterized by fine, firm wires and a high degree of flexibility.
Pocket springs are modern spring systems that are characterized by a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
As the name suggests, each steel spring here is individually packed in its own fabric pocket. Due to the built-in pockets, the individual springs are protected from external influences and also remain individually movable. This mobility leads to high point elasticity, which provides optimal body support and thus a special lying feeling.
With Aksan Yay, two different pocket spring variants are offered:
Variant 1: Point-bonded pocket springs
Variant 2: Surface-bonded pocket springs
We also offer micro pocket springs, whose steel springs have a small spring head diameter of 25 – 35 mm. These have the special feature that the springs are covered with several pockets and thus enable ergonomic body adaptation.
As with the bonell springs, we can adapt our pocket springs to customer-specific requirements. Wires with different diameters and springs of different hardness are customized.
